ZAZEN PLUS = MORE ZAZEN Master Bárbara Kosen leads. Flow of activities as follows: First Zazen sitting with a Kin-hin in between, finishing with the ceremony and Hannya Shingyo chanting. Afterwards a restorative Guenmai (traditional rice gruel) accompanied with Busho Kapila (Sutra chanted during meals). A short pause for washing bowls and going to the toilet. Workshop on Zen Calligraphy imparted by Zen monk, master and calligrapher Christophe Ryurin Desmur on June 29 and 30 at Mokusan Dojo, Madrid. The workshop will take place on Saturday through morning and evening, starting at 10:00 h. after an early morning zazen (8:00 a.m.) -to which attendance is recommended.- and also during the Sunday morning (10:00-14:00 a.m.). It is the skin of zazen, it expresses freedom of spirit, the dignity of the posture, happiness without bonds. During a month, we will continue the tradition that started with Shakyamuni Buddha, who gathered his disciples together during the rainy season in order to live and practice together. The Ango will be lead by master Bárbara Kosen, who practices the Ango tradition for over 40 years.
