As 00:00 approaches and next to the glow of the great bonfire, the ceremony of the 108 Bonno, a figure that in the East evokes the limitlessness of passions. As they are limitless, they cannot limit us. We express it by ringing the bell. Everything has passed, it is extinguished, our Zazen skin is now as new as that of a child. Party, music… without forgetting that the next day is the first Zazen of the year.
Sunday 1st January: Breakfast, Zazen and Fuse (giving) ceremony. Everyone according to their means offers a donation to the Buddha, as well as incense. Then, at noon, the New Year’s celebration meal.
After that, the practice continues until January 6th, with Zazen and Samu in the daily rhythm of the temple.
