The sesshin will begin on Friday, June 13 with dinner at 9:00 p.m. We recommend arriving early enough to settle into your rooms. That same Friday after dinner there will be an introduction to help you with the sitting posture, breathing, mental attitude… and answer your questions.

Throughout Saturday and Sunday morning we will practice zazen, samu, and receive teachings on Zen from Master Barbara Kosen. We finish on Sunday the 15th after lunch.

Beyond the noise of the social world and far from our usual worries, the sesshin is an ideal moment for recollection, intimacy with oneself, silence and stillness that allow us to deepen our self-knowledge. During the sesshin we pay special attention to each and every one of the actions carried out, from the moment we get up until we go to bed. It is the teaching of presence, consciousness, delicacy, eternity contained in an instant. It is the sincere practice that can lead us to the achievement of profound personal change, to the essential revolution of life.

Located on the banks of the Ebro Reservoir, in the Cantabrian town of Las Rozas de Valdearroyo, surrounded by a privileged natural environment, the Cantabria Aventura hostel has a capacity of 70 beds. The price of the sesshin is 85 euros. (Reserve €25; + cash during the sesshin €60). To register you must make a reservation of 25 euros by bizum (690 384 283) or bank transfer to the account number: ES83 1465 0100 9117 0375 6588 and send a whatsapp with your name and the bank receipt of the entrance to 690 384 283.
