SAN-SUI DOJO
Founded in Poio (Pontevedra) by the monk Ungo, master Bárbara Kosen‘s disciple and successor. The Sansui Zen dojo belongs to the network of dojos of the Zen Association Taisen Deshimaru.
The Dojo is a quiet place consecrated to the practice of Zen: Zazen, the still sitting of Buddha and Samu, the activity of Buddha.

- Samu: The Dojo’s cleaning and tidying up: Monday from 18:30 to 19:30
- Kesa: sewing Samu: Saturdays from 12:00 to 13:30

FEES
They are non-profit and are used for the Dojo’s maintenance
and the dissemination of the Dharma.

MASTER DANIEL UNGO
Daniel Ungo finds Buddha’s Way the year 2001 through an initiation in the Mokusan Dojo of Madrid, his native town. Constantly present in the Dojo’s daily practice, as well as in sesshín (retreats) at Shorin-jí temple in La Vera (Caceres), under the education of her master, Bárbara Kosen, from whom he received the Bodhisattva ordination (Zen lay practitioner) in 2007, the monk ordination in 2008 and the Dharma transmission (Shiho) in 2023, being currently a Zen master of the Deshimaru lineage.
Daniel helps the Sangha all these years by the practice of various responsibilities: Mokusan Dojo coordinator, Tenzo (head cook) and Shusso (responsible of zazen) at Shorin-jí and editor at Zenkan, among others.
In 2021 he moves to Galicia, the native land of his mother’s family, settling in Pontevedra. In 2022 he starts a practice group at the Social Center O Burgo and, in 2023, he creates an independent Dojo with the name of San Sui, Dojo of the Mountain and the Water.
