From March 21 to 23, 2025, the Sesshin of Levante will take place, led by Master Daniel Ungo. The sesshin will be held in La Zafra (Villena), Alicante, and the organization will be in charge of Belén B., a nun of the Sangha of Bárbara Kosen and the logistics will be run by the Valle de los Alhorines Association.
Arrival will be on the afternoon of Friday, March 21 and there will be an introduction for beginners. There will be four periods of Zazen (meditation) on Saturday and two on Sunday. Samu, or collaborative work, will also be carried out in a rural environment.
It is necessary to bring a bowl, headlamp or flashlight and a sleeping bag. Places limited to 15 people.
The price of the sesshin is 70 €, includes accommodation in shared or single dorms with shared bathroom and full board. It is necessary to make a reservation of €20.
The menu will be vegetarian except for the farewell meal which will include meat or fish (exceptions to be advised in advance).
