Gratitude Sesshin – tribute to Taisen Deshimaru

The great master Taisen Deshimaru honored the unsurpassable Buddha by introducing the teachings of Zen in Europe. At present Master Barbara Kosen, his direct disciple, and her sangha (indirect disciples of him), thank Master Deshimaru every year for his compassion by a remembrance sesshin marking the days of his passing. This sesshin, of two and a half days, is open to anyone interested in intense practice of zazen and in participating in the uncomplicated life of a Zen temple: Zazen, guenmai, coffee, samu, zazen, lunch, rest, samu, zazen, dinner, zazen, sleep.
Arrivals to the temple are to be made during the evening of Thursday, April 30, in time for the welcome dinner (9:00 pm).
The cost of the sesshin is 90 euros. Those who are not members of the Zen Taisen Deshimaru Association must pay an additional 20 euros for their registration fee, valid for one year.
